Senior Salesforce Developer Overview

The SSD will play a vital role at VIZpin. We are looking for a team member to help us continually improve and enhance the Salesforce platform that our access control services run on. The SSD will work alongside our software development teams and third party software companies to understand customer requirements, convert them to development projects and deliver the solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development and product teams to enhance the products with special consideration for security, scalability and system limitations
  • Develop new features and enhancements in Apex and Visualforce
  • Continually Improve our User Interface with Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
  • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other internal and external 3rd party systems
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write and maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Ensure smooth execution of new features and updates

Job Requirements

  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle
  • Experience developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java, HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Able to work independently as well as with other Salesforce team members
  • Passionate about best code practices
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
  • Experience working with large data sets and bulkification
  • Fluent English speaker
Additional Skills
  • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, professional qualification, or relevant experience
  • Competent with XML, Flex, .NET, SQL, C++ and SOAP-based web services
  • Active in the Salesforce community
  • Comfortable managing a team

Inside Business Development Manager (IBDM)

In this role you will teach customers about our products and provide them with pricing. You will also connect customers with dealers in their area who can install and support the products. If we don’t have a dealer in the area you will help our customers find one and connect them.

Southeast Outside Sales Executive – Multifamily Specialist

The Outside Sales Executive is an important part of the team and you can leverage your prospecting, communication, and sales skills to find new sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales to generate qualified leads and sales meetings that help us achieve our sales objectives.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Executive will be responsible for growing our multifamily and student housing business and identify other high-volume applications for our Smart Locks and Smart Access systems.

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales
  • Establish new relationships with multifamily & student housing developers, operational managers, general contractors and architects
  • Get VIZpin specified on new construction and upgrade projects
  • Identify new high-volume applications for our products and develop assigned markets
  • Manage and grow our network of Certified Partners and Installers
  • Qualify leads and generate meetings by leveraging phone calls, emails and available resources
  • Utilize all available tools to prospect into new accounts
  • Consistently generate a high level of outbound prospecting activity
  • Follow opportunity development until closing
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Maintain an up-to-date technical understanding of products, solutions, and business value propositions
  • Utilize CRM system to track activity and manage sales opportunities
  • Regularly achieve Key Performance Metrics
  • Meet quarterly and annual qualified opportunity goals

Northeast Regional Sales Manager

The Northeast Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for maximizing territory revenue by creating end-user demand and finding and supporting Certified Partners (dealers) who can sell, install and support our products

Responsibilities

  • Identify and present VIZpin to at least 20 high potential end-users each month
  • Conduct face-to-face monthly meetings with key sales personnel at all dealers in territory
  • Add at least 4 dealers per month until we have adequate coverage
  • Train dealers and assist them in sales presentations and webinars

  • At least 5 years outside sales either directly or through a dealer channel
