Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Accounting and Operations Manager to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in managing and improving all aspects of accounting and operations. It is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with is strong opportunity for growth.

Accounting Responsibilities

• – Prepare monthly GAAP compliant financial statements
• – Manage all aspects of accounting
• – Identify additional funding sources such as tax credits and grants
• – Provide outside CPA with data for federal and state tax filing
• – Assist CEO with budget preparation, investor communications and legal documents
• – Complete Corporate reporting requirements

Operations Management

• – Manage, review and continually improve operations
• – Automate various processes such as on-line purchases, account renewals and invoice generation
• – Ensure all vendor relationships are optimized in terms of delivery, pricing and payment terms
• – Manage Inventory and shipping
• – General office administration including updating policies and procedures, HR and agreements

Experience

• – Minimum BA/BBA in Accounting
• – Minimum 5 years of experience in the field including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cost accounting and management reporting
• – Attention to detail
• – Strong analytical skills
• – Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, tax software, payroll etc…
• – Experience managing relationships with suppliers
• – Strong interpersonal and communication skills
